Training and constant striving for excellence has been absorbed by the Larijames team. In the beginning, and still today decades later, the salon team prides itself on customer and hair services. We do our absolute best everyday for every client. We achieve this level of commitment and expertise by conducting training sessions throughout the year every year. Meet the Salon Team
Larry Alati
Owner, Stylist
Larry Alati — Owner, Stylist
Larry has been in the Industry for over 40 years. In 1982 he opened Larijames Salon, which he has owned and operated as a PM Focus salon ever since. Larry has been a Paul Mitchel Educator since the salon’s opening and has trained with (or been mentored by) John Paul Dejoria, Paul Mitchell, Vidal Sassoon and many other hairdressing greats. Larry has had many different titles over the years including but not limited to Paul Mitchell National Haircut Trainer, Senior Associate, and Master Associate.
His services include: Trendy Haircuts, Precision Cutting, Upstyling, Polished Blow outs, Dimensional Hair Coloring, Color Corrections, and Keratin treatments.
Larry loves his wife Susan and is extremely proud of his son Christopher. While his list of accomplishments, certifications, titles, and experiences in this industry could fill the space of 6 pages, he is modest and humble and lets his artistic creativity do the talking.
Jenna
Stylist
Jenna — Stylist
Jenna has been working at Larijames Salon and Spa since the summer of 2022! She started as our receptionist and has worked her way up to become a stylist! Jenna is our computer girl; she knows everything about social media and the internet! In 2023 Jenna graduated from Webster Thomas High School, while attending EMCC for her cosmetology license. Jenna was chosen to attend SkillsUSA and was able to compete in Regionals and States for New York! Jenna also qualified for National Technical Honor Society from EMCC for her hard work and dedication to cosmetology. During her first years at Larijames, Jenna attended a Paul Mitchell show in Ohio and has also attended classes locally with Thomas Cousins, Oscar Bond, Robert and Mary Cromeans, and Stephen Moody! Jenna is Barbicide, Barbicide Covid-19, BondRX, Gray Hair Science Expert, and all Keratin Complex treatments certified. She plans to continue her education through Paul Mitchell classes, in-salon training from Larry and other educators, and classes throughout New York and surrounding states.
Jenna plans to specialize in color, highlights, balayage, fashion color, keratin treatments, updos and cuts! She loves working with the Larijames family and providing a positive environment for clients!
While Jenna works full time, she always makes time for her friends and family! She loves to be outside, always looking for a new adventure or challenge! Editing photos and videos for herself and our team is another activity she enjoys! Jenna is a big animal lover as well, just ask her cat named Fluffy! Jenna

Jenna — Stylist & Makeup Artist
Jenna is here to make sure you feel beautiful inside and out. When you hear the words “it’s just hair,” please know it’s more than that in Jenna’s chair.
A licensed cosmetologist, Jenna has been with the Larijames family since 2015. Over the years, Jenna has had the opportunity to take haircutting and coloring classes locally and as she’s traveled! Her goal has always been to learn the newest fashion while putting a creative spin on the classics. Education has been incredibly important to Jenna during her journey and it has allowed her to believe anything can be customized to the individual. Jenna’s goal is always to make her clients feel understood and comfortable in her chair while putting aheir faces huge smile on their faces.
Jenna specializes in blonding of all types, gray coverage, creative/corrective color, haircuts, scalp and hair treatments, and bridal styling and design. She also loves to wax/shape eyebrows! One of her favorite moments is when she can do hair and makeup for a prom or bridal party and see the complete transformation happen before our eyes. It’s just magical.
You may know Jenna in the salon from always talking about food and desserts as cooking happens to be a passion of hers. If she’s not at Larijames Salon and Spa, you can find her outdoors with her pup Percy, spending time with her husband Ethan or training in Jiu-Jitsu. Jenna wants to be sure to mention the beautiful friendships and knowledge she has gained from her wonderful clientele over the years and how truly grateful she is for each of them.

Randi

Randi — Stylist
With over 25 years in the beauty industry, Randi has been with the Larijames team since 2015. While living in Chicago, she continued her education at The Pivot Point Academy for aesthetics and Columbia for makeup artistry. Randi focuses on continual professional development through regular industry training opportunities thereby enhancing her already vast talents. Her clients span youth, young adults, and working professionals because of her trained eye for modern styles accentuated to highlight each individual’s unique personality. Whether you need a quick trim or a complete makeover, Randi will leave you feeling like your best self. Randi’s two teenage boys keep her up to date with all the new trends!

Patrice
Stylist
Patrice, Stylist
Time has flown by since Patrice joined the Larijames family over 35 years ago. She has attended numerous classes, in-salon and out; professional trade shows (IBS and regional); and other education events (such as Hair Designers Guild testing where, back in the day, she and Larry met).
Patrice feels that the color, haircut design, and perm services she provides are all facets of her artistic foundation. She’s been a lifelong student of the Arts. When she’s not at the salon, she’s immersed in oil or encaustic painting. Portraiture is her favorite. She has trained with Jean Stephens, Kathryn Bevier, Steve Carpenter, and Sari Gaby locally and attended workshops with internationally known artists such as David Kassan, Jeffrey Hein, Susan Lyons, and Daniel Greene. She is a member of the Rochester Art Club, The Mill Art Center and Gallery, and the National Portrait Society. Her BA is in Fine Arts and she feels this training informs and enhances her hairdressing skills.
Madison
Stylist
Madison — Stylist
Madison graduated from EMCC as a licensed cosmetologist in 2017. After working at DejaVu, a salon formerly owned by her mother, she ventured to Larijames Salon and Spa to join the team in 2018. She has since completed our Rising Star Apprentice Program and is continuing to educate herself, taking classes with names such as Oscar Bond, Toby Price, Robert and Mary Cromeans. She has also traveled to NYC to attend the IBS hair show and Ohio for the Paul Mitchell show. Madison has dedicated time to becoming Clean Beauty, BondRx, and BARBICIDE® certified and is planning to add more to her tool belt.
Madison shares a passion for all things hair, but has dedicated a large portion of her career to perfecting the craft of color services. She specializes in blonding such as highlight and balayage, as well as creative color work. Madison’s brain eats, sleeps, and breathes the color wheel. She is always ready to roll up her sleeves and take on a color project.
Along with being a talented stylist, Madison shares a passion for dance. She is a dance instructor at her childhood studio, Fitzsimmons Dance Factory, where she competitively danced for 12 years. Aside from work, Madison loves spending time with her friends and family including her fur babies Bear, Biggie, and Luna. She is a well rounded and very enthusiastic stylist that we are proud to have in our Larijames team.

Luanne

Luanne — Stylist
Luanne joined the Larijames family in 2010. She has been an incredible asset to our team and has even earned herself the role of “Salon Mom.” Luanne works part-time while being a full-time mom to her two kids, Jacob and Alyssa. She has many years of experience and has cultivated a specific set of skills, including perms, color, cut, and blow-dry styles. She enjoys all of the education Larijames Salon and Spa has offered throughout the years. Aside from being a meaningful part of our family and her own, Luanne loves to spend time outside working in the yard and going for walks.
Christi

Christi — Stylist
Christi has been with the Larijames family since 2009, and has over 25 years of hair experience. Christi is a passionate and trend-savvy hair stylist who specializes in colors, cuts, and special occasion styles. Christi is dedicated to staying on top of the latest trends, she is also very adamant about continuing her education by taking classes and attending trade shows in great cities like New York! . Christi is always on top of the greatest fashion and hair trends and works hard to make her clients love their final product.
If she’s not working hard behind the chair she is cherishing moments with family and friends. She loves to spoil her 5 nieces and nephews, her husband, and, of course, Knox! You can see her puppy and salon work on her Instagrams @knox_river2022 and @wolffski
Michelle

Michelle — Stylist
Michelle has worked for Larijames Salon since 1986! Working with Larry, a Paul Mitchell educator for all of these years, has given her the opportunity to be introduced to the beauty industry’s top educators, like John Paul Dejoria, Paul Mitchell, Robert Cromeans, DJ Muldoon, and Oscar Bond to name a few. She has been published in Passion and other international industry magazines.
She offers all hair services to everyone including children. She is very meticulous and specializes in beautiful precision haircuts. Like fashion, the styles that were popular when she started years ago, always circle back. “WHAT WAS OLD IS NEW AGAIN!”
Michelle and her husband Phil reside in West Irondequoit. Traveling, gardening, and baking are a few of her favorite things. Also, she is a good storyteller, with impressions and accents making her entertaining as well! Oh, and let’s not forget sports, especially football. A diehard Bills fan since birth. Go Bills!
Lauren

Lauren — Stylist, Wax Specialist, Venus Technician
Lauren joined the Larijames family in 2020 and has been a hairstylist for ten years! She graduated from Webster Thomas High School and EMCC in 2013. Lauren specializes in haircuts, blow dry styles, color and highlights. She is also outstanding at clipper cuts. Along with being a talented hairdresser, she also does face and full body waxes. Lauren is a Venus technician and is certified in the Venus Bliss and the Venus Freeze Plus.
In her free time, Lauren spends time with her friends and family. She adores her three cats, Lola, Milo and Aurora.
Anya
Lash Technician and Stylist
Anya — Lash Technician and Stylist
Anya has worked at Larijames Salon and Spa since the summer of 2024! She graduated high school in 2020 from Webster Schroeder and started her hair journey at Shear Ego International School of Hair and Design in January of 2023. Anya graduated from Shear Ego in August of 2023. Anya did her eyelash training through “Lash Life by Jules” and has received certifications in Classic and Hybrid sets. In August 2024, she achieved the Volume, and Mega Volume sets certificates. While working at Larijames, Anya will continue her education for hair with in-salon classes by Larry, Paul Mitchell Educators and Hair shows in NY and surrounding states.
Anya plans to specialize in lashes, color, highlights, balayage, cuts, updos, fashion colors, and hair treatments!
While outside of work, Anya loves to hang out with family and friends. She also likes to spend time at her old dance studio, whether assisting or taking adult classes. Carla has worked at Larijames Salon and Spa since 2018, and has been in the beauty industry for over 37 years. She started her training at Continental School of Beauty. Carla works full time at Reidman Construction and provides part-time hours with Larijames. CND, Footlogix, OPI and Aveda products are just a few of the areas she has specific training in. Carla specializes in natural manicures, gel manicures, pedicures and acrylic nails. She has a passion for what she does and getting to know her clients is very important to her. Along with pampering them to their fullest, is what she strives for daily!
Whether it be outside or by the pool, she loves spending time with her family and friends!
Jas

Jas has been with the Larijames Salon and Spa since 2016 and is our Master Pedicurist. She is a graduate of the Continental Nail program! Jas has worked hard at improving her skills and has built a very busy book for herself over the past couple years. She loves expanding her knowledge through classes and all the new trends on social media! Being trained to work with Footlogix, OPI and CND gives her the ability to educate her clients on how to take care of their hands and feet.
Jas’s favorite services to provide are pedicures but she is amazing at manicures (gel and natural) and acrylics!
Jas does everything for her three daughters! If they need her, she’s there in an instant! She also loves her three terrier dogs, Loki, Minnie and Storm! Jas can’t live without her dunkin or starbucks! PS, She’s always in need of coffee!

Donalee is a licensed New York State Esthetician, National Reiki Master, Certified Holistic Life Coach, Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer, and Aromatherapy Practitioner. She provides a safe, nurturing space for clients to heal and grow, focusing on the mind, body, and spirit.
Specializing in skincare, Donalee offers treatments that enhance the skin’s appearance while promoting emotional balance and relaxation. She integrates Reiki energy healing, aromatherapy, and life coaching to help clients achieve clarity, confidence, and self-love.
Committed to expanding her knowledge of healing modalities, Donalee brings new tools and techniques to her practice, supporting her clients’ journey to holistic well-being.

Vera has been with the Larijames family since the spring of 2023! She graduated from Webster Schroeder High School in 2022. Vera’s smile and welcoming greeting is the first thing you will see when you come into the salon! You can see her at the desk, answering phone calls, and checking out clients. Vera loves making relationships with current and new clients!
Vera loves her family and her friends! She has 7 pets including her favorite Dallas, a 2 year old Border Collie. Vera enjoys traveling with her friends to big states like Michigan and Florida! Vera also loves being at the lake and ocean; she is either jet skiing, tubing or tanning on the beach!
Rachel

Rachel — Receptionist
Rachel is a familiar face at Larijames! As Patrice’s oldest daughter, she practically grew up here. After working some summer hours during high school she started back at the reception desk part time in 2024. Rachel loves the community of customers here and the ever growing Larijames family.
After college, Rachel spent time throughout the northeast, as well as Texas, Stage Managing for different companies. Her favorite might just be working with the Sesame Street Friends at SeaWorld in San Antonio. Being part of the magic that happens when a child meets Elmo, Cookie Monster visits a children’s hospital, or an adult’s secret dream of meeting Big Bird comes true is a pretty great way to spend your days.
Sesame Street has taught Rachel to celebrate the small things, and she enjoys bringing some of that magic, joy and energy to Larijames. In her free time she enjoys hand beading, creating mobiles and any other hands-on art form!
